WOMEN IN BLACK

Wearing: Monki top, Zara vest, Sussan leggings, I love billy high top wedges, Mimco bag, Ray-ban glasses, Bauhaus turquoise ring, black ring, silver ring from Vietnam, Sportsgirl ear cuff.

Black. This is the colour that takes up about a half (if not more) of my wardrobe, with grey being the second dominate. This year I have forced myself to add others colours to my collection especially for winter but every now and then I just can't help but go back to faithful black. Two weeks ago I purchased yet another black item, I love billy high top wedges. I am probably a bit late to the party with this trend but I have finally caught on and now can't seem to take them off! Words cannot describe how comfortable they are, I even wore them to uni and was able to run to catch the bus with great ease. My best friend laughed when I told her this, probably due to her hatred of even the slightest of heels. While I on the other hand could not live without them (and extremely tall pairs as well) even though I probably shouldn't with my height but that doesn't stop me! I can tell these wedges are going to get a beating with the amount of times I will wear them just like my trustworthy Mimco bag, which is looking a little tired after many nights out. Thank you again to my best friend Ruby for helping me out and taking these photos. They were shot along the wall of the Capri, a beautiful old movie theatre in Adelaide that has the best choc tops! Also sorry for the quality of the first photo, I am going to blame it on technical difficulties.

Hope you all have a great week,
Hannah

I am heading off to the snow tomorrow and I can't wait! I love skiing, it is one of the few positives that come with extremely cold weather and the feeling of racing down a slope is exhilarating. This trip will be even better though because I am going with two of my best friends. My friends mean everything to me, in fact it was their support and encouragement that motivated me to start this blog. Therefore I have decided to dedicate this post to my friends. This is my first collection of photos of my life from Instagram, my camera and various iphones instead of my usual daily style post. Hope you all enjoy it and sorry for the quality x

You probably won't hear from me while I am away so I hope you have a great week,
Hannah

PSYCHEDELIC

Wearing: Zara blazer, Sussan shirt, Sportsgirl skirt, Tony Bianco booties, Witchery bag, Diva earrings, Duepunti ring, Bauhaus silver rings.

In case you didn't realise from my last post I LOVE prints and after being sick for the past few days (resulting in a half squeaky half rough voice) a brightly patterned Zara blazer was the perfect pick-me-up. I wish I could have afforded the matching pencil skirt but unfortunately the income of a uni student forces restrictions on my wallet, which feels weirdly heavy with the occasional weight of money. Most of the time I don't even entertain the idea of going shopping because the temptation of new clothes, shoes and accessories is far too great and my obsessions get the better of me. However, that doesn't stop me from window shopping online and staring at the same item longingly with minutes or even hours going past. I think it is the effort of entering card and contact details that stops me from completing the purchase. Speaking of obsessions though, another one of mine is rings. I feel naked if I am not wearing at least one ring and most of them mean something special to me. My mum gave me the white diamond Duepunti ring when I finished my year 12 exams and the silver rod ring, which I wear on the same finger, was an 18th birthday present from my best friends. However, the other silver ring I wore today was simply meant to be a present until I realised that I like it too much to give it away. Also sorry for my crumpled shirt, I attempted to iron it but gave up easily.

Hope you all have a good day,
Hannah

GREEN AND GOLD

Wearing: Cue coat, Cheap Monday jumper, Zara pants, Seed loafers, Ray-Ban glasses, necklace from Croatia, turquoise ring.

Hi everyone,
Welcome to hannelore, my personal dairy of fashion and inspiration.

The last few days have been so cold in Adelaide that I (the summer person I am) have resorted to sitting in bed with my electric blanket on full blast. However, one positive of these freezing winter days is being able to wear my beautiful Cue coat. The poor thing rarely gets worn unless I am in Europe. It is so warm and fits me perfectly, I wish I had more opportunities to wear it even though that would require an increase in cold weather. I have a new obsession with gold and glitter and could not believe my luck when the sales assistant told me these Seed loafers were only $35. Even with the icy weather, I can't bring myself to take off these pretty sparkly shoes and swap them for practical boots. They also go perfectly with my (just bought moments before) Zara pants, which I adore despite my brother continuously stating that it looks like frogs have been splattered against them. With all the rain making everything so green and lush, I felt very suited to my environment.

Much love,
Hannah
